although the genius of "the simpsons" took awhile to mature, there was always the one eared angry kid rabbit in the background. "the simpsons" was, while it lasted, both more brilliant and much more based in a human and rounded warmth, but the bunny gets points for being concise, and sometimes, pure silliness. groening reworked many of his earlier panels, but the one below remains the best of "the pledge."
